Who am I?

My (pseudonym) is Brianna, I’m in my early 20’s and I’ve been diagnosed with CPTSD (complex post-traumatic stress disorder).
I don’t have any other diagnosis at this moment. Have been diagnosed with BPD for example, but it turns out, it’s ‘just’ CPTSD.

Sometimes I write about Brenda and/or Peter. Brenda can be described as a younger me and Peter as an angry person. However, they are not separate people.
I live with my 2 cats, which I refer to as ‘baby girl’ and ‘baby boy’.

The CPTSD is a result of childhood trauma. I write openly about it on my blog here (although slightly anonymous), with a trigger warning at the top when I think the content might be triggering.

If you want to contact me, you can do it below:
It will be sent to my email, which I’d rather not put on here because of spam.

Some posts are password protected because I do want to share, but it can be very personal (and/or detailed) information, so that’s why its password protected. The password (will always be); cptsd

  1. Hi Brianna,
I stumbled on your blog 🙂 It feels odd to write this in English to you, while I know you’re Dutch (and so am I), but I want to respect the language you set for this weblog 🙂

I feel like I can relate to a lot of things you wrote here. I’m a 24 year old girl, like I said from the Netherlands, also weblogging here, also diagnosed with CPTSD (due to childhood sexual abuse). I’m in therapy; EMDR at the moment.

I like to follow you, because it’s good for me to read things from someone who understands what it’s like. Is that ok?

    Take good care! 🙂

    • Hi!
Your comment made me smile 🙂 thanks for that! Very sweet of you.
      Of course thats ok!
EMDR, that must be very heavy. Take care too.
I saw your blog is protected, I’d like to follow aswell, but I can understand if that doens’t feel save, because it might be a personal account and then an account like this is following you.
I’ll request, but dont feel bad if you want to decline. No hard feelings 🙂
Again, thanks for you sweet comment!

  2. Hi there!

I already accepted you before reading this haha!

My blog wasn’t always a private blog; The name eramaajarvi won’t lead anyone I don’t want to know about what’s really going on in my life, to me, because it’s Finnish.Though recently I started a new blog (same username, different adress) with poems and writings (because I love to write) and I posted the link of this blog on my facebook. I didn’t want those people to accidentely stumble on my other blog, so I made that one private, but to you ofcourse, it’s open.

Feels good reading the comment made you smile! 🙂 (that made me smile! ;-))
